How to download your PNC statement as a PDF
On pnc.com
- Sign on to Online Banking.
- Select Accounts.
- Find and select the account you'd like to view.
- Select Account Quick View.
- Select Statements and Documents.
- Select View PDF to see the full statement.
In the mobile app
- Sign in to the PNC Mobile app.
- From the bottom navigation bar, select the More menu, then Statements and Documents.
- Choose between Online statements, Account documents or Other documents.
- Select an account.
- Select a year.
How far back you can go depends on the product: PNC keeps 7 years for checking, savings, auto and unsecured installment loans; 4 years for credit cards; 5 years for mortgage and home equity; 10 years for investment accounts. Statement history may not be available at all for closed accounts — worth pulling before you close one.
How we check a PNC statement is right
We reconcile against the balances PNC printed on the statement itself: the transactions we extracted must account for the entire move from the opening figure to the closing one, with nothing unexplained in between. Where the statement carries a running balance beside each row, we use the stronger check and verify every adjacent pair. Because retention differs by product at PNC, statements from different accounts may not cover the same span — each file is reconciled on its own terms rather than against its neighbours. A file whose arithmetic does not close is flagged rather than quietly handed to you.
We do not state whether your PNC statement carries a per-row running balance, because PNC publishes no sample statement and we could not verify it from any source we trust. Your actual file decides which check applies, and the result is shown on screen before you download. PNC is not one of our per-bank verified parsers, so we quote no accuracy percentage for it.
Things worth knowing
- Retention varies by product rather than by bank — 4 years on a credit card against 7 on a checking account. If you are pulling a multi-account history, the card statements run out first.
- Closed accounts may lose online statement history entirely, so download before closing.
- Check images live in transaction history for 24 months and are separate from the statement PDF. They are pictures, not transaction rows, and are ignored on conversion.

Is the PNC Bank statement converter free?+
Yes. You can convert PNC Bank PDF statements to Excel or CSV for free — no signup or credit card required to start. Higher daily volumes are available on a paid plan.
How accurate is the PNC Bank to Excel conversion?+
Every conversion is checked against the statement's own balances (our reconciliation gate) and shown to you in a preview before you download, so you can confirm the PNC Bank numbers are right. A conversion that doesn't fully reconcile is flagged for review.
