How to get your BECU statement as a PDF
In Online Banking
- Log in to BECU Online Banking.
- If you have not already, enrol under Account Services → "Enroll for eStatements".
- From the Account Summary page, choose "View eStatements".
- Open the statement period you want and save the PDF.
Online Banking holds around 18 months of statement history, though BECU retains statements for seven years overall. Business accounts and credit cards sit behind different menu paths than consumer deposit accounts — there is no single route that works for every account type.
How we check a BECU statement is right
We reconcile the extracted transactions against the balances printed on the statement itself: the rows have to account for the full movement from the opening figure to the closing one. Where the statement carries a running balance beside each row, we use the stronger check and verify every adjacent pair. An anchor only counts if it actually appears in the PDF, so the extractor cannot verify itself against a number it invented, and a file whose arithmetic does not close is flagged rather than quietly handed to you.
We make no claim about the internal layout of a BECU statement — BECU publishes no sample and no guide to reading one, so we would be guessing. Your actual file determines which check applies, and the result is shown on screen before you download. BECU is not one of our per-bank verified parsers, so we quote no accuracy percentage for it.
Things worth knowing
- Statements are not available in the BECU mobile app — BECU says so directly. You need Online Banking in a browser to get the PDF.
- The quick download in Online Banking is not a statement. It exports QFX, QBO or CSV for roughly the last 180 days, one account at a time, and never a PDF. Those files carry no printed opening and closing balances, which is exactly what the reconciliation checks against — so convert the eStatement PDF when you want the numbers to be checkable.
- For history older than about 180 days the export route changes again and gives CSV only. If you need a verifiable older period, take the statement PDF instead.
- Enrolling in eStatements and viewing them are separate flows, and both differ between consumer accounts, credit cards and business accounts.
